Dear you.
Thank you for being honest about how angry and disappointed you feel. It sounds really exhausting to keep reaching out for help and then feel forgotten, ignored, or left waiting. I can understand why that would make you lose trust in adults and in the system meant to help you.
What happened with your psychiatrist sounds especially painful. When someone tells you to reach out if things get bad, it makes sense that you expected support or follow-up. Being left without that can hurt a lot.
I also hear that you’re tired of responses that feel empty or automatic. Behind all the anger, it sounds like there’s also a wish for someone to genuinely care and actually stay present instead of disappearing when things get hard. You should not be carrying all this weight on your own. I can see that you are working so hard to get people to react and respond when you reach out, that takes a lot of hard work. And at the risk of giving you more work, I’m thinking if there is someone I your enviroment that you can reach out to…perhaps a teacher or someone at your school or Family. Or you can reach out to Barnaverndartænastan (you can look up the contact information online) in your area – they are there to protect all children and make sure they get help when they need it.
Thank you for writing in again instead of keeping it all to yourself. You can always write or call us back at Tú og Eg Ràðgevingin á 116 111.
